If you don't want to wait for a new version, just replace weapwavvariousfootstepsnewv2.ogg with any.ogg (convert footsteps.wav from wav folder using literally anything, even wav to ogg online should work tohave original sound back).Camera issue is V-Sync related (or maybe OS too, can't confirm this case), just tick/untick it from options menu anytime your camera gets stuck.+1 vote. I've replaced the footstep sound with the old one, it actually bothers me too as well because I've been testing stuff with 50% volume. Too loud, too repeatitive and dont match at all and some sounds dont work properly.
It feels weird at times, its like you move around with the camera but the 'camera' goes too fast and 'skips'a frame or something.I also have to share it, the new footsteps sounds are plain garbage.
